The background for TCG Consulting, is a fairly straightforward story, and the following is a listing of some of the the Typical projects that the resources, personnel and associates involved with TCG Consulting have become involved with over the preceeding years.

Obviously with many man years of experince to draw upon the projects listing could come up with hundreds of projects that we have been involved with, but the list includes some of the higher profile projects ar projects that potential clients may have heard about in theire respective regions.

The personnel associated with TCG Consulting have been involved in these projects in a varying role, usually as the service provider engaged to deliver a system that has been specified or designed by others. Historically the security systems portion of any project has been tied in with or specified within the electrical services portion of a project especially for a commercial venture, and the system has been designed and specified by a Mechanical and Electrical services Consultant based on their understanding of a security management system, and intruder alarm system or general security devices.

TCG Consulting “specialise” in Security and Risk management systems and solutions, and are fully aware of what is available in the world today to “Engineer” a solution for a specific client application. It is not just a question of the Hardware and the Boxes and the modules that go together to build a system, it is the complete application that must be addressed in line with the organisations Risk management, health and safety, and threat analysis profile that must be addressed, as well as the response procedure and processes that need to be adhered to when the system has been delivered.

TCG personnel have been to numerous projects where systems have been delivered or installed, and these systems have been found to be totally in-appropriate for the site, the facility or the client.

TCG consulting was formed as a result of a number of experts in the field and specialists in their particular area getting together and deciding that there is a better way to address these type of systems and that we can develop a business based on our knowledge of how to Engineer the solution for the Bigger picture given each and every individual application.

We als believe that in many cases we can save the end user in some cases millions of dollars per year by addressing the whole problem in the first instance and not just throwing money at a particular problem on any given occasion.

Having allocated the budget for a particular application, it is essential that all parties associated with the site, the facility or the organisation are fully aware of their particular role in the overall system, and are fully trained and have a complete understanding of their responsibilities, the necessary responses, and the full accountability aspects of the system.

Their input is also invaluable in many cases, as they are the people who see what is happening on the “Coal face” as it were, and they must be allowed to have their input to ensure that what is delivered as part of any system, is a usable and workable tool for their daily needs. We cannot expect any individual to take responsibility or be held accountable for any aspect of a security and risk management system or strategy, if they are not allowed to participate in the formulation of a system, a process, or a response mechanism in the first instance.
